As Expedition Yellowstone approaches, I have been looking through my records to see who has paid their trips and who is missing what information. I will be sending notices home today with students who I am still missing forms from. Please get these back to me as soon as possible. Just a reminder, Picture Day is tomorrow! You can send your picture forms with your student or sign up online.

Hi all! There has been schedule change for once a month swim. We will no longer be going on the 22nd, but the 29th now. This is to ensure that we won't have any conflicts for picture day! I have also posted this on Class Dojo.

Just a reminder that tomorrow we have our first practice hike! Please send your student to school with their hiking boots tomorrow. If they need hiking boots and you have not already discussed this with me previously, please send me an email (kknapic@rangers1.net) to let me know.

As some of you have noticed Mrs. Peternal and I made a goof on the spelling list. Sudden is on the list twice. I apologize for this, but it means that the students only have to 19 words instead! We will take extra care next time to ensure that there are no repeat words on the lists.

Hi all! We are at the half way point for the week! just a few reminders, we will be hiking from 1:00-2:00 on Friday afternoon. Please make sure students are bringing their hiking boots for that day so we can break them in a little bit. If you need a pair of hiking boots please let me know, we have extras here that we can use. I have some homework for the parents. I like to focus on a Key of Excellence every month and this month I am working on Speaking with Good Purpose. If you see your child Speaking with Good Purpose outside of school, please let me know! I will use as part of my classroom discussions!
